Overview

The Digital Communications Specialist will, as part of the Corporate Communications content team, help us share important stories and useful information across our digital channels including, but not limited to, Twitter, Facebook, PGWorks.com, Instagram, LinkedIn, email newsletters and more, including digital channels not yet developed.

 

This role involves working with the Corporate Communications team to develop, prioritize, schedule and publish content that will attract and keep the attention of customers, employees and other stakeholders, tracking and analyzing the impact of that content, and applying lessons learned to future content development. It also involves developing processes and content to engage with and monitor social media channels, reporting results and making recommendations.

 

In addition, the Digital Communications Specialist will support PGW’s marketing and advertising initiatives, extending those programs across our digital channels in a way that makes sense for their users.

Responsibilities

Support the development of communications plans for creation, publishing and dissemination of corporate communication, advertising and other marketing communications content.

 

Develop corporate communications content and transform previously developed content to ensure easy sharing with social networks.

 

In conjunction with team members, create, adapt, improve, and optimize digital communication content.

 

In conjunction with team members, improve and optimize corporate web- properties, in line with branding and style guides.

 

Develop/maintain social media profiles.

 

Assist in the preparation and drafting of various communications (email, social media, blogs, etc.).

 

Develop and implement action plans for monitoring and updating the quality of service and performance of PGW`s website.

 

Monitor digital content and property performance, analyze usage and prepare regular reports to share results and generate ideas and recommendations regarding digital strategies and tactics to meet business objectives.

Stay up-to-date with digital media developments.

 

Perform other special projects and assignments as requested.

Qualifications

Bachelor`s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or other related field of study required.

 

Minimum of 3 years` working experience in Digital Marketing or a similar function, including content development and reporting, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and utilizing and leveraging social media management and analytic tools.

 

Strong working knowledge of HTML, Google Analytics, Email Campaign systems, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.

 

Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

 

Working knowledge of using content management systems to manage web content.

 

Experience implementing and managing online content and marketing campaigns.

 

An effective verbal and written communicator.

 

Must have interpersonal and negotiating skills with the ability to sustain constructive and cooperative working relationships.

 

Organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi- task and meet deadlines under pressure.
