The PGW Internship Program is designed for students currently enrolled FULL-TIME at an accredited college or university with a sophomore classification or above ONLY.

This Internship is designed for students that are available to work throughout the academic and calendar year.

 

Responsibilities

  • Administrative duties within the IT procurement and inventory management function;
  • Maintains records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software;
  • Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking;
  • Tracks quality throughout the product lifetime;
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job;
  • Works under general supervision.

Qualifications

  • Be a full-time student currently enrolled in an accredited university or college;
  • Have a sophomore classification or above;
  • Currently pursuing degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or and equivalent study;
  • Be in good academic standing;
  • Be able to commit to 15-20 hours per week to the program;
  • Previous internship experience is preferred;
  • Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently to perform a variety of tasks on short notice within designated deadlines without constant supervision;
  • Strong interpersonal skills
