The PGW Internship Program is designed for students currently enrolled FULL-TIME at an accredited college or university with a sophomore classification or above ONLY.

Responsibilities

 

Research Projects

  • Support evaluation on PGW’s low income customer programs.
  • Analyze other pilot campaign/case study data and derive actionable results.
  • Support research on existing studies on Low Income customer behavior and PGW’s current programs.
  • Assist in modeling Low Income customer data.

Data Analysis

  • Utilize data visualization tools, internal customer, government provided, and public data to aid project analysis.
  • Help guide data collection parameters using PGW historical campaigns.
  • Critically analyze current practices and use data to suggest areas of improvement.
  • Conduct individually guided analysis on customer behavior, grant metrics, and/or policy improvement

 

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Graduate or Bachelor’s degree program in Economics, Statistics, Math, Data Science or other related field of study.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of statistics.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to delicate issues.
  • Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work well as a team.
