Associate Business Partner- Employee Engagement

 

The Employee Engagement – Associate Business Partner is responsible for providing project management and administrative support to the Manager, Culture & Inclusion to help build and sustain a team-oriented, inclusive, and cooperative culture.  The Employee Engagement – Associate Business Partner will support the implementation of employee experience initiatives and programs that foster employee engagement, belonging, inclusion, recognition, and appreciation across the organization. This incumbent supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of employee experience initiatives, including employee programs, communications, events, and engagement activities. The role partners with Human Resources and Organizational Development to advance employee engagement belonging, inclusion, recognition, and appreciation across the organization.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation of initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of high engagement to enhance employee experience.

 

Promote a work environment that is inclusive, engaging, collaborative, and respectful. Support employee affinity groups by providing administrative, logistical, and budgetary support, assisting with programming coordination, governance documentation, and other operational needs.

 

Collaborate with HR and company managers to provide consultation, guidance, and support on employee experience, recognition, engagement, belonging and inclusion initiatives.

 

Collaborate with HR management team and other departments to implement data-based solutions.

 

Provide project management support for the delivery of our pulse engagement survey and focus groups, including working with our business partner teams on action planning.

 

Participate in committees, on-boarding initiatives, employee branding efforts, and other special projects or assignments in support of organizational priorities. Collect and analyze data to develop key reports related to employee recognition, appreciation, culture, belonging, and inclusion initiatives.

 

Support the execution of employee engagement initiatives and events.

 

Stay abreast of trends and best practices related to employee experience, engagement, belonging, and inclusion.

 

Performing other special projects and assignments as requested.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Organizational Development or other related fields of study is required.

 

Minimum 5 years’ human resources, employee relations, HR generalist experience, or related HR function, with demonstrated experience leading projects and initiatives from planning through implementation and completion.

 

Experience in supporting and/or leading employee engagement initiatives.

 

Possesses strong attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills.

 

Working knowledge of labor relations and experience collaborating within a unionized environment preferred.

 

Partner and work effectively with cross -functional teams to promote a culture of belonging, inclusion, appreciation, and recognition across the organization. Possess, strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate new and complex ideas, present data effectively, gain stakeholder buy-in and build collaborative partnerships. Must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity. Must value difference in others’ strength perspectives, approach, and personal choice.

 

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft OneDrive, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

 

This role will be eligible for hybrid work after 6 months and may require periodic travel.
